Weekend REVLry | 20th-22nd Nov

We’re slipping ever so closely to Friday, meaning the descent to the weekend is on. And if you’re still yet to put anything in the diary, get out that pencil and start scribbling a few of these ‘maybes’ in. We’re covering all grounds too; days out for kids, how to spend an afternoon with your parents or sacking it all off to binge-watch TV. Check out our pick of the best stuff to do this weekend.

Crafty Christmas with Mum

Date night, sorted

One of London’s most intimate supper clubs, Aya Cafe in Peckham’s Holdron Arcarde are cooking up a feast for just 18 people this Friday and Saturday night. And for just £27 each, we’re puzzled as to why there are tickets left. Aya will be cooking her grandmother’s recipes to match the cosy setting. It’s BYOB too.

Friday is film night

If you want to escape the bustle of London’s festive street markets this weekend (there are a few opening this week including Winter Wonderland, Christmas Market at Tate Modern and South Pole Saloon in Brixton), a feel-good film is the best way to spend a chilled Friday night. Our pick is The Lady in the Van, a heartwarming and hilarious story about a lady who parked in the driveway of Alan Bennett’s home and lived there for 15 years!
