Why You Should Watch The Brighton And Hove Triathlon
Few things are better than packing your bags at the end of a long week in the city and heading down to the beach – and next Sunday the first Brighton and Hove Triathlon takes place in the seaside city, so there’s all the more reason to hop on a train and soak up the sunshine.
There’s loads to do and see for the whole family in Brighton, and especially next weekend. Fitness lovers can check out the Sports and Fitness Show 2016 – which takes place on Saturday 10th on Hove Lawns. Bring your family along to try a whole range of different sports including: climbing, netball, yoga, children’s skiing and snowboarding. There’ll also be loads of stalls to browse and delicious food served by Brighton’s famous Street Diner. And the best part? Entry is totally free!
If the little ones are feeling energetic on the Saturday then they can participate in the Children’s Scootathlon. Kids between the ages of 4-8 can take part in the run-scoot-run and win themselves a medal. Just remember to bring your scooter!
Head down to the seafront on Sunday to watch the triathlon; where participants will take part in an open water swim, closed roads cycle and a run through the promenade. When it’s all finished you can go for a stroll down the beach, chow down on some fish and chips and grab an ice cream. Sounds like a great weekend to us.
