Unmissable Events for Gamers

The gaming world is huge at the moment and if you’re a gamer you’ll know there is SO much more to get involved with. Coming up there are tons of festivals, conferences and more that gaming fans can go to. Whether you’re a developer looking for some feedback on your new game, or have little gamers in the family that want to check out their first convention or festival – there’s something here for everyone.

The VR Concept Game Jam

VRFocus has partnered up with HTC Vive to bring you a brand new Video Jam opportunity. On 6th Feb, wannabe VR video game makers are invited to the Four Thieves to showcase their games to the pros. The aim is to come up with the best gameplay mechanic for 2 player LAN vs gaming in a pub environment. Those who register will be given a theme on the day and 24 hours to create their unique idea for HTC Vive. Then winners will see their game in pubs across London and Brighton!

ICE Totally Gaming

Head to London’s ExCel for this year’s ICE Totally Gaming conference. ICE acts as the annual launch pad for new gaming innovation, there are hundreds of new games being exhibited across the three days. It’s a major gathering place for new players, operators, regulators and everyone in-between. The seminars are free and there’ll be tons of new people to meet.

Geek 2017

Newly moved to Dreamland in Margate for 2017, Geek 2017 is a festival of games, and invites everyone of all ages to head down to meet, make and play. You’ll findΒ all types of games there: board, video, card and even real life. Highlights for this year include the 25th Anniversary of Nintendo’s Mario Cart in actual bumper cars, take part in coding and even robot making workshops. It’s on during half-term too, so fun for all the family.

The PC Gamer Weekender

Walker Stalker Con

Walker Stalker Con isn’t your average zombie convention, it gives fans the chance to meet up and become a part of a large community of zombie lovers. EGX Rezzed
