Whilst many people are gearing up for debatably the most romantic evening of the year, the rest of us are thinking ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it’s just another day right? Where the 14th Feb splits everyone’s opinion, the reasons to celebrate on the 13th Feb are a no brainer. Galentine’s Day. Originating from Parks and Recreation, with the idea that your gal pals are basically your soulmates, so they deserve a holiday too. And we totally agree. Brunch at Palm Vaults

The prettiest and most ‘grammable cafe in London is the perfect place for a Galentine’s brunch. Tucked away on Mare Street, the totally veggie cafe and coffee shop is head to toe in retro tropical decor with the gold accents to match. On the menu you’ll find fresh, healthy veggie food that doesn’t forget about brunch staple: avo on toast and they even sell candy coloured lattes.

Make Cards for each other at Drink Shop Do

Just because you’re not celebrating Valentine’s Day doesn’t mean you can’t get in on the arts and crafts of making cards. Head down to Drink, Shop, Do with the girls, grab a cocktail and make each other some cards. They say the best ideas happen when you’ve got a drink in your hand, right? And it’s totally free when you buy a drink.

Get an M&S Dinner

Ever since purveyor’s of delicious foods, Marks and Spencer began selling their ‘Two Can Dine for £10’ deal it changed dinners for everyone. Long gone were the days of there being nothing in the fridge so ‘a ham sandwich will do’ and began evenings of a three course meal for two with a bottle of wine thrown in, all for a measly £10. And this year they’re upping their game for the romantics with a more decadent menu and some added Prosecco for £20.

Running from 9th – 14th Feb, it’s the perfect place to pick up dinner for you and the gals on Monday.

Watch BOOM La Tete at The Nightjar

Head down to The Nightjar on Monday where Hennesey will be presenting a free evening with swing band BOOM La Tete. The band are a mixture of gypsy swing and rock ‘n’ roll, with super high energy to get you on your feet. As well as live music, there will be cheap Hennesey cocktails on offer. We know it’s a Monday, but it’s Galentine’s. Treat yo’self.

Stack Magazines: Love Letters at Ace Hotel Shoreditch

    Galentine’s Day is the only celebration worth doing in Feb, if your S.O doesn’t spoil you everyday; is he even worth it, Hun?
