The Warehouse Project: Why You Should Party North This Winter
It’s been a turbulent few months for nightlife in the capital but one winter party doesn’t look to be shutting it’s doors anytime soon. Manchester’s The Warehouse Project is one very BIG reason why you should escape the capital and party north this Christmas and NYE.
With venues closing, the night tube starting and London’s favourite super club shutting up shop, it’s fair to say that the big smoke’s late night REVLers have been in a state of confusion. Will the club scene survive? Should protecting night life matter to everyone? How will the late night economy continue with fewer venues? Who knows right now. But with new venues like OMEARA opening and #saveourculture events popping up all over the country, we can only hope that this is far from ‘the end.’
One late-night music event that doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon is Manchester mecca, The Warehouse Project. The owners took the local music scene by storm back in 2006 with their simple concept; three months of groundbreaking cross-genre acts in a warehouse space. 2016 looks set to be another groundbreaking year for team too, with over half of the events already SOLD OUT. Yep, you blink and you will literally miss The Warehouse Project’s best nights. But don’t worry just yet, they’ve just announced that there’s a fresh batch of tickets coming for their four final shows including the infamous NYE and New Year’s Day parties. So, here’s 3 fat reasons to get out of London and head north to party this winter. Just wrap up warm!
