London Beer Week: The City’s Best Watering Holes
It’s that time of year again. London Beer Week (LBW) is once again gracing us with it’s presence for a third year, and the good people over at Drink Up London are putting an unmissable programme of events to celebrate. Running from 13th – 19th March, London Beer Week is a celebration of beers, ales, lagers, ciders and those alike. This year’s festival is jam packed with tastings, pop-ups, parties, food and brewery tours galore. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to get drinkin’.
The Beer Edit
In previous years LBW have had a hub of pop-ups, breweries and immersive beer experiences. The Beer Edit is like this but oh-so much bigger and beer-ier. Located in East London’s Oval Space, it will run across three days and might be the best beer village you’ve ever seen. Expect music, every type of beer you can think of and absolutely no beer snobbery.
This is the event for beer lovers, by beer lovers. Head down to the Cock Tavern on Mare Street with your cans to swap and try some brand new beers. Hang out with the guys from UBREW who will be running the taps and ready to answer any questions you have. There’ll even be a raffle to win some boozy goods.

Single-malt Glaswegian whisky Auchentoshan and Seth Troxler’s BBQ restaurant Smokey Tails have teamed up to bring you the best mid-LBW party with beers, whisky and meats galore. Tickets are free and each guest will receive a complimentary Auchentoshan and ale on arrival, be able to enjoy a specially created whisky-infused menu and eat to the beat of Jasper James.

Guinness x St. Patrick’s Day LBW Party
What better way to celebrate both London Beer Week and St. Paddy’s Day than with Ireland’s favourite stout? Guinness are throwing the ultimate food and beer pairing party at The Pickle Factory with loads of delicious food to try from KERB, live entertainment and the exclusive chance to try some beers from Guinness’ Open Gate Brewery. Not forgetting your ticket includes a free Guinness. Great craic.
